Start from Scratch
Two more weeks to go and another academic year is going to start. I am still thrilled at the thought of it despite that it brings about a resurgence of my long-kept doubts and fears about my abilities. Before, I thought I’ve been in the right place, but now, I can’t even feel that sense of belonging. You see, I’ve always been unsure of myself, but this time I am quite sure that everything’s gone the wrong way. It’s not that I don’t love what I’m doing; I just don’t know if I could live with it. Had my grades been complete last semester, I might have left that hell of a school and went elsewhere… though I really am clueless about where that “elsewhere” will be.
My profound enthusiasm for writing had led me to this field, but lately, realizations have been taking over, telling me that I should have thought twice before giving in to what my heart dictates. True, I love writing with all my heart (although it doesn’t love me back), but not to the extent of making a career out of it. What I really dream of, each passing night, is becoming a forensic pathologist, a secret agent and a psychic, all at the same time. No kidding.
Anyway, I’ve just enrolled for this semester, and these are the subjects I’m going to take:
